Salmon Dance

Salmon Dance blends contemporary dance, documentary footage, and interviews with fishermen to create a window into the life and livelihood of commercial salmon trolling in Southeast Alaska. The soundscape is built from interviews with local fishermen. Filmed in and around Icy Strait and Cross Sound in Huna Kawu.
Salmon Dance is supported by a Rasmuson Foundation 2020 Individual Artist Award.
